General Shipping Information

Merchandise:

General merchandise orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days, regardless of shipping method selected. Merchandise orders for clothing or gift items may be delayed during the start of each semester due to increased textbook orders.

Merchandise orders are shipped using the United States Postal Service priority mail.

Our flat rate shipping fee is $8.00 for continental US orders. Please contact us at 401-874-2722 for international shipping rates.

Customers that request expedited shipping will be contacted to discuss increased shipping charges. Expedited shipping charges may vary.

Gift Cards are shipped via USPS (Flat Rate $2.99).

Diploma Frames are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Please allow up to 8 weeks for delivery. Chairs are shipped directly from the manufacturer ($50.00). Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. Unfortunately, these items cannot be shipped to a PO Box. 

Textbooks:

Textbook orders are processed at the start of each term. Processing time will vary depending on the quantity of orders received. Please plan on at least 7-10 business days before orders are processed and shipped.

Textbook orders are shipped using the United States Postal Service priority mail.

Any textbook returns need to be returned to the store prior to the refund deadline for that semester.

The URI Campus Store will provide a shipping label for returns. Please contact us at [email protected] to request a prepaid return label.

Union Express Package Forwarding Service:

Need a package shipped from Union Express? We've got you covered! Select this item (Union Express Package Forwarding Service) and proceed to checkout. Once we receive your order and process payment, we can ship your package to the home address provided with your order.

The cost to ship is roughly $8.00 per package. NOTE: This fee will be adjusted at the time of order processing based on the package weight, shipping address, and number of packages you are looking to have forwarded to your home address.
